About Us

personal trainer and client

Workout at home is a registered trademark of JJ Fitness & Wellbeing Ltd. We were established in 2006 and by the end of 2008 we had a team of four personal trainers providing mobile personal training services in Cardiff and its surrounding areas. Due to the economic climate and the dreaded word 'recession', many of our competitors were struggling to generate and retain clients and we soon realised that the service we were offering our clients was far better than our competitors. Further market research suggested that opportunities existed in other parts of the UK for us to work with other like-minded personal trainers to help develop and grow their personal training client base in their own territory. So, for the past two years we have been developing the 'Workoutathome' brand with a vision 'to be recognised as the number one personal training company in the UK by 2011'.

Online Support Systems

To fulfil our vision we have to provide clients with a service that is unrivalled in the industry and therefore provide personal trainers with the tools to be able to achieve this. During 2009 we developed a unique home fitness training system giving personal trainers the ability to design and deliver effective individually tailored fitness training programs and during 2010 we have worked closely with our web development team to design and implement a personal trainer and client 'online support facility'. We are now ready to launch the 'workout at home' brand to the UK Fitness Industry.

The Workout at home brand has been key to the success of my personal training business. The professionally designed website gives me the edge over my competition. The health advice, home fitness system and nutritional support are the 'little extras' that can make a difference to the service you provide clients. I was amazed that I could offer my clients a free nutrition e- book and a free 100 recipe book!

The marketing support system is fantastic! I joined the team because I was struggling to get clients through the internet and realised that apart from word of mouth most clients were using the internet to search for a personal trainer in their area. An excellent service all round!

I see about 20 to 25 clients per week without the need to do any advertising and that's because the majority of enquiries are made through the workout at home website.

The support package that is available to clients has only enhanced my performance and reputation as a personal trainer. The online support facility is there 24/7 enabling me to focus on personal training. With more and more clients using the internet I believe the support system available with Workout at home will ensure I am always one step ahead of my competitors.

As an athlete I train for about 15 to 20 hours a week. With the remainder of my time I operate as a freelance personal trainer under the Workout at home brand and currently have 14 regular clients who all train at least once a week. The flexibility of seeing clients around training has been brilliant!

The personal trainer support system is superb; it is easy to use with great functionality. Client Management would never be the same without it. I can add health assessment results and set goals for my clients. The home fitness system enables me to design specific training programs for those clients that also like to train on their own or when I am on holiday. I also print off circuit cards which I use to set up a small circuit in a clients home. My clients know they cannot get this service anywhere else

I already have my own personal training business

You have a couple of options depending on the success of your current business.

Unless you believe you are the number one personal training company in your area, then re-branding your business by becoming a Workout at home licensee is something you should seriously consider. Ask yourself the following two questions:

If you answer ‘No’ to either or both of these questions we would suggest you consider rebranding.

If you answer ‘Yes’ to both of these questions and you believe you are the number one personal training company in your area then we would suggest you keep your existing brand but still join the workout at home team. The only difference is that you will be provided with a Workout at home banner so that you can add this to your current website to inform your clients and potential clients that you are a Workout at home licensee.

Remember, if you do become a Workout at home licensee you are also preventing another personal trainer from becoming a licensee.

I would like to have my own personal training business

Every business wants to be a customer's first choice and so building and managing a brand can play a significant part in making that happen. Branding is an important part of marketing your business and it can often be difficult for individuals to market themselves in such a competitive market. This is why, with the support of the Workout at Home brand, you can be the face of your own business, but potential clients know you have the backing of a UK wide company.

If you would like to have your own personal training business but do not know where to start then becoming a Workout at home licensee is definitely for you.
